Delivery rates: A delivery charge of €9.99 applies to the majority of items on our site. Larger or bulkier items may attract a different rate , any charge will be clearly visible in your cart. 

Standard Delivery: The majority of orders placed before 4pm each day will be delivered within 48 hrs. Some items have extended lead times i.e. furniture,printers & IT equipment. These lead times will be advised to you upon ordering. Lead times around Christmas and public holidays, may be extended beyond the standard delivery lead time mentioned above due to supplier closures during holiday periods i.e Christmas time.

Brexit : The U.K formally left the EU on 31st January 2020. As a result of this, E.U member states including Ireland introduced added customs checks and delays to product coming from the U.K. While we strive to keep these to a minimum we have no control over these delays. If you require urgent delivery it is worth checking with us to avoid any disappointment with possible delivery delays. Certain stocks such as furniture product can be more susceptible to delays as some lines are sourced through the U.K even if they are shown as stocked on our site. These products are shipped overnight from U.K and in some cases can incur spot checks at Irish ports which can delay delivery.

Delivery Shortages: Any shortages must be notified within 24 hrs by email only to sales@theofficestore.ie 

Returns : Any returns must be notified within 5 working days by email only to returns@theofficestore.ie . Please note all furniture items are non-returnable.

Once a return is approved by email you can return goods to our warehouse. Goods cannot be returned after 14 days . Theofficestore.ie does not cover any costs incurred with return of goods. Goods received due to our error must be returned by the end user with valid receipt from courier for return shipping and this cost will be refunded upon return to theofficestore.ie in full along with cost of goods received once returned.

If you are availing of the cooling off period please following the instructions below (What is the "Cooling Off" period?)
Please ensure that the item is in its original packaging, is unopened and in a resaleable condition.  Damaged, faulty products and shortages need to be immediately brought to our attention. Theofficestore.ie does not cover any charges incurred with returning goods except if goods are faulty or damaged. In this case shipping will be refunded upon production of receipt for cost incurred for return shipping to us via courier.

What is the "Cooling Off" period?

The "cooling off" period is a period you have as an online consumer in which to make up your mind if you want to return the goods or not.  By law, this "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. However, if this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must unequivocally advise us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase. Prior to returning the goods, please email our returns team returns@theofficestore.ie  

To help us locate your details on our system please provide us with as much detail as possible including an order number or account number and telephone number.

When sending back the goods, please include a written statement or note with the goods that you are returning by post or courier so we can identify where the goods have come from. It is not enough to just send the goods back.

All goods must be packaged correctly and securely preventing the product and retail packaging from damage during transit. Please do not put packaging tape on retail packaging as this will make the product unsaleable. We generally advise to cover the product and retail packaging with a plastic bag, then protect with bubble wrap and place in a mailing box or envelope ensuring the product fits correctly into the packing box or envelope with no voids. Voids can allow the packing box to be crushed and allow movement and shifting of the contents.

When returning goods you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.  Once the goods have been received by TheOfficeStore.ie, inspected and deemed in a resaleable condition, a refund for the goods will be issued excluding the original cost of delivery.

When availing of the cooling off period, you may not use goods that you have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase.  All goods being returned must be in resaleable condition including any retail packaging.  Items such as laptops, computers, tablets, printers, software, recordable media and other technology machines and equipment which contain a security seal can only be returned if the security seal has not been broken or tampered with.  Customised, made to order or personalised goods cannot be returned.  Due to health and safety regulations the following cannot be returned: food or beverage goods, biscuits, coffee or water, clothing, safety clothing, footwear, safety footwear, socks, headsets etc.

Delivery Shortages

On receipt of your order, prior to signing for your goods, please carefully check the supporting delivery note supplied by the carrier to ensure that the contents of your delivery corresponds to the items mentioned on the delivery note/packing slip.  No responsibility can be accepted afterwards for short delivery if there is a discrepancy.  All shortages must be reported by email to TheOfficeStore.ie within 24 hours.  Claims for shortages must be supported by the carrier’s proof of delivery note on which the goods have been signed for as short.

Delivery of bulky items, furniture items and upstairs deliveries
The courier is contracted to deliver to the stated address on the order. Insurance covers our couriers to deliver products to the ground floor only. If a product needs to be delivered to a different floor level you will need to arrange this separately yourself. Please note that furniture items are delivered flat-packed and require self assembly. We can arrange for assembly of furniture in most cases and quote for this service upon request.

For heavy items additional delivery charges may apply depending on the item being delivered and the ease of access to the building. There may be additional charges if multiple delivery people are required , whether there are steps leading into the building or if delivery is to a ground floor or an upstairs floor. You will be advised of any cost implications beforehand
